Auntie Val's Nature Videos
Leslie's Friend's
Welcome to my little zone where Henretta the Coopers Hawk oversees the video's and critters on my page. This is a little collection of videos I've taken over the last handful of years. I get a huge kick out of editing the videos to music. Some of which is my own music, and other songs hunted down to match the rhythm of the animals movements and manorisms. I hope you enjoy your visit, and return every now and then to relax and enjoy some of the wildlife I've had the pleasure to enjoy. I still have a handful more to add, so come back soon!
Once Upon a Pond
This has to be my favorite bird and wildlife video. I wanted to pack as many species into it as possible. I also labored a great deal over the placement of the clips so it would appear as though the critters were dancing to the music. There are some shots of a big amorous lizard chasing a female, and her playing hard to get...sort of.
November Releases
I had the privilege of releasing two birds rehabilitated at Wildlife Images last fall.
Oh Deer
Rory Mc Buck and Hilda Dale have been getting a little too bold. They need to realize that humans simply cannot be trusted. I figured that perhaps it was time to start teaching them to stay away from humans. Dont worry no animals were harmed in the making of this video.
Hot Quail Chicks
Quail chicks, quail chicks! I must have been addicted to filming quail chicks. Along with other sweet bathers.
The Chipmunk's Chagrin
OK, chipmunks are cute, but they can also be holy terrors to the garden and landscaping. So I decided not to encourage them to eat the bird seed. I put the seed block atop a pole, however they still managed to shimmy up it. So I tried greasing the pole with a bit of salad oil. Took one little guy a while to finally give up.
Sweet Oregon Tweets
These are a handful of the local wild birds. I've always loved the Lazuli Bunting with its beautiful blue color. Oops I need to edit this one, it only looks blank.
Honey Nuggets
I love springtime when the baby quail hatch out.
